Bandits kidnap Kaduna chief’s youngest son after failed attempt to abduct him

The youngest son of the Chief of Fadan Ayu in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State was abducted by unknown gunmen, on Saturday, December 17.

Ayu Traditional Council Secretary, Jibril Adamu Muhammed, who spoke to Daily Trust, said the bandits were after the traditional ruler because they went straight to his room and started shooting.

Muhammad said the kidnappers later called to negotiate for his release but it was the victim’s mother who answered and they said they could not negotiate with her but with the father.

He said; “They fired many gunshots on his door but God protected him. Having found it difficult to reach the chief they took away his youngest son, Sahabi.

“Since then they have not called. We are still waiting for their call.”
