The organizer of the event in a press statement posted on its Instagram page offered refunds to customers while noting the Essence singer breached his contractual obligation.

To organizer:

chi.dannyelle: “You owed refunds from the beginning. The way we were hassled and trampled trying to get those ridiculous wrist bands. The way your people were arguing about emails rather than just having the capacity to scan the QR codes. The way no staff knew anything. I literally saw two people point someone in two different directions to get to golden circle. The way we were never directed the portable toilets and were told to use filthy washrooms with no soap or water. The way you lied about water and bottomless drinks in VIP, which was basically a holding pin where we were immediately charged 20 cedis for two bottke of Awake. You knew he was never going on when you moved the gate time from 4 to 6, for what? This was Fyre festival level failure and you know what happened to them. Its infuriating and very, very sad.”

mornynglory: “Pure scam?. How many still have thru tickets for refund?. Due to anger peeps have destroyed their tickets and now Ay3ka?”

speed.ayy: “No apologies for the poor service then?”

To Wizkid:

director5_: “Mehn , too bad the show didn’t go as planned. Hoping for better planning and an artist who will actually enjoy coming to perform not some arrogant artist who won’t even post about a concert he’s headlining”.

Big Joe: “Oh oboy weezy. You’ve hushpappied my people. You tweeted about the place making them feel you’d be there and did them saman (ghost)”.
