Biography
Lynxxx, Real name – Chukie Edozien is a Nigeria musician and entrepreneur
He was born on November 24, 1983, as the lone son of Chief John D. Edozien, a former vice governor of Nigeria’s then-Old Bendel State.
Lynxxx is the creator of the genre known as Jollof Musik, which he defines as “an artful blend of music to create great music.”
Education
Lynxxx attended Corona Primary School in Ikoyi for his primary education before heading to Kings College for his secondary education.
He then proceeded to the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, where he graduated with a business, economics, and marketing degree.
Career
Lynxxx performs a Jollof song. He defines Jollof Musik as fusing several musical styles to create good music. In 2009, after spending ten years in the background, he made his public
Lynxxx started with his debut song “Change Your Parade.” The song was his shot to prominence in the Nigeria music industry.
It got positive reviews and garnered a lot of radio play and nightclub exposure
In response to the popularity of this and a few other songs, Lynxxx issued his debut album, “This Is Lynxxx”, in 2010. The album combined various musical genres like funky houses, contemporary R&B, and urban hip hop.
Wizkid, Banky W, Naeto C, Efya, General PYPE, R2Bees, and other guests were featured on the album.
In the same year, Lynxxx became the first Nigerian musician to be endorsed by Pepsi.
He also released “Jollof Musik”, his second studio album, in 2015, and “The Album Before The Album”, his third studio album, in 2016.
Lynxxx dropped “She Likes” as part of his new EP project, Summer Time Vibes. Spax Classic produced it and used Boj’s vocals.
Before beginning his musical career, he established a number of profitable businesses, including Syndik8 Denim, a digital recording studio, Red Room Studio, Happy Teddy Media (HTM), and Syndik8 Films.
Lynxxx is a brand developer, web designer, and graphics designer who served as a judge at The Pitch Nigeria 2019.
He is also the owner of The Arena, a company that develops applications and provides mobile solutions, among other things.
Lynxxx gave his life to Christ in 2015. He then put music on hold to focus on his business and his growing religion. However, he made a brief comeback in 2016, releasing a gospel song, “Serve You.”
