Osabuohien Osaretin, famously known as Sarz, is a Nigerian record producer and artist who is well known the catchphrase “Sarz On The Beat” attached to his productions.

Sarz was born on March 17, 1989, in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria.

For the first time in 2007, he received full credit for producing Lord of Ajasa’s “See Drama.” His list of clients includes artists like Naeto C, Banky W, Skales, Shank, Reminisce, Goldie Harvey, eLDee, Wande Coal, YQ, and Niniola.

In November 2013, when his deal with Trybe Records ended, he switched to the 1789 Entertainment record label.

Sarz had his elementary education at All Saints Primary School before proceeding to Goodwill Secondary School for his secondary education.

In 2007, Sarz began his career as a music producer after collaborating with Lord of Ajasa to create “See Drama.”

He later produced the remix for Jahbless’ 2010 hit song “Jor Oh,” which also featured music stars like Durella, RuggedMan, Reminisce, Ice Prince, and eLDee. The song was a finalist for “Best Street Hop” and “Best Collaboration” at The Headies.

He contributed to several albums in 2011, including Shank’s “Salute,” eLDee’s “Today Today,” Skales’ “Mukulu,” Goldie Harvey’s “Don’t Touch My Body,” and Reminisce’s “Kako Bi Chicken, which was nominated for “Best Street Hop” at the 2012 Headies awards.

Later that year, he produced the entire Undeniable album by eLDee (except “We Made It”).

Then he performed “Beat Of Life (Samba),” a song with Wizkid from his album. He contributed two songs, “Kilofe” and “Jaiye Jaiye,” both of which featured Femi Kuti, to Wizkid’s 2013 Ayo album.

Wizkid and 2Face Idibia were featured in the official Hennessy Artistry 2014 theme song, “Dance Go (Eau de VieVie),” which was created by Sarz.

Additionally, he has worked with international musicians like Chris Brown and Drake.
