Popular Nigerian artiste, Davido has made his first public appearance after the death of his son, Ifeanyi.
The singer is in Osun state for the inauguration of his uncle and governor-elect, Ademola Adeleke as the next governor of the state.
Davido’s public appearance is a reminder of his loyalty to family as his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, is sworn into office as Osun state governor today.
The incoming governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, will be inaugurated in Osogbo, the state’s capital, today.
This is the first time time the singer is seen publicly since the demise of his three-year-old son who died in an apparent drowning in the the swimming pool at the singer’s house, according to police.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, was not at the residence in Lagos at the time his son, Ifeanyi drowned.
The child’s mother, Chioma Rowland, was also away, according to Lagos police spokesman Ben Hundeyin.
