Drake lost 2 million dollars on Sunday with a bet on UFC fighter Israel Adesanya

Canadian Musician, Drake has lost another bet worth $2 million by backing Israel Adesanya to defeat Alex Pereira on Sunday morning.

The hip-hop artist has a long history of betting on UFC fights which includes most recently tipping Nigerian fighter Kamaru Usman which saw him lose $200,000.

The Canadian rapper’s first public bet in the American mixed martial arts came back in March where he staked an incredible £232,000 ($275,000) on Jorge Masvidal to beat Colby Covington, but Covington resoundingly beat his competitor.

UFC 281 was another pay-per-view event which saw Adesnaya lose his title after being knocked out cold by Brazilian challenger Perreira in the main event at the Madison Square Garden.

Drake had wagered $2 million on Izzy to beat his opponent at the main event of UFC 281 in New York on Saturday.

Brazil’s Alex Pereira pulled off an upset against Israel Adesanya with a technical knockout in the fifth round during the main event at the UFC 281 to become the new UFC middleweight champion.

This defeat ends the Stylebender’s reign atop the middleweight division. The event held at the Madison Square Garden, New York.
