Toke Makinwa is a Nigerian radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress and author.
She was born on the 3 November, 1984. Toke Makinwa is 38 years old as of 2022.
Toke is a multitalented individual who has explored several aspects of the Nigerian movie industry and has also won numerous awards in the course of her career.
She released her book On Becoming in November 2016. She is also one of the top five African female show hosts
Education
Toke had her secondary education at Federal Government Girls’ College in Oyo State before proceeding to the University of Lagos, where she bagged a bachelor’s degree in English and Literature.
Career
Makinwa made her significant media debut as a co-host on Rhythm 93.7 FM’s The Morning Drive show in 2010.
In 2012, she hosted the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty contest, broadcast live throughout Nigeria.
She co-hosted 3 Live Chicks on Flytime TV with Tosyn Bucknor and Oreka Godis. The show began as a web series before being broadcast on terrestrial television in late 2012.
Makinwa debuted her YouTube vlog series, Toke Moments, in 2012.
