Close People Around Davido Who Had Died in Recent Times

Davido is a Nigerian music legend who has recently been bereaved of close associates.

The African megastar musician, who has received widespread international acclaim, is also a well-known humanitarian, and millions of his fans are in grief over the death of his 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned in the family’s swimming pool in Lagos on Monday.

Before the devastating event, the musician had lost several close friends and collaborators.

Ifeanyi Adeleke is one of Davido’s children and his only son, who died a few days after his third birthday.

The youngster died after drowning in their family swimming pool at his father’s Banana Island residence in Lagos on October 31.

Davido and his girlfriend, Chioma, the deceased’s mother, were said to have travelled to Ibadan, leaving the boy with their domestic staff.

Obama DMW

Obama DMW was Davido’s business colleague who died on June 23, 2021, at a hospital in Lekki.

He had complained of breathing difficulties and was taken to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Tagbo

Tagbo was one of Davido’s closest friends who died on his birthday, October 3, 2017.

Tagbo reportedly had a night of excessive drinking and allegedly downed 40 shots of tequila, according to details surrounding his death.

The Police State Criminal Investigation Department reported that Tagbo was taken to the hospital on Davido’s orders but was pronounced dead by the doctor on arrival.

DJ Olu

DJ Olu died tragically on October 7, 2017. The disc jockey and his associate, Chime Amaechi, both members of Davido’s crew, were found dead in a BMW automobile at a garage on Banana Island, Lagos.

According to Ikoyi Police Division reports, they were discovered dead in the automobile, bleeding from their noses and mouths, with chemicals presumed to be narcotics seized from their bodies.
