Nse Ikpe-Etim is a Nigerian award-winning actor and writer.

She was born in Lagos on October 21st, 1974. Currently, Nse Ikpe-Etim is 48 years.

Etim is known for her eloquence and brilliance. She is one of Nigeria’s most talented actresses.

She effortlessly construes her roles in movies that it pull the viewers into the moment.

Etim had her elementary education at Awa Nursery School and Command Primary School in Kaduna State before heading to  Louis College, Jos, and then Federal Government Colleges in Jos and Ilorin for her secondary education.

She then proceeded to bag a bachelor’s degree in Theater Arts from the University of Calabar.

Career

Etim began performing on stage at the university at the age of 18. She made her debut on television in a family drama, “Inheritance”.

Etim took a break from acting to work briefly in the banking and business sectors after earning her degree from the University of Calabar. She also had a brief stint in the fashion business. Additionally, she briefly worked as an OAP (On-Air-Personality) for Rhythm and Cool FM.

Later, Etim entered the world of pageants and took home several crowns. She made her television debut in the soap opera “Family Inheritance,” but it was her stunning performances in the films “Reloaded” and “Mr. and Mrs.” that catapulted her to fame.

She appeared in the 2020 movie Quam’s Money, which is Tope Oshin’s follow-up to the 2018 movie New Money. The sequel explores what transpires after a security guard (Quam) unexpectedly becomes a millionaire. Falz, Toni Tones, Jemima Osunde, and Blossom Chukwujekwu were part of the project.

However, she was cast in the lead role of the Seyi Babatope-directed film Fine Wine in February 2021, alongside Richard Mofe-Damijo and Zainab Balogun.

Etim has also been featured in some other blockbuster projects like King of Boys, and A Trip To Jamaica, amongst others

She has also received numerous nominations and awards for these films as well.

Marriage

Etim is married to Clifford Sule, a senior lecturer at Middlesex University.

Nse Ikpe-Etim, took a man’s advice to cover up and stop showing her breasts on social media seriously when a user with the handle @IsaacNwaubani threw the advice at her. The user wrote, “I respect you a lot. Don’t allow the public to see your deep cleavage again.”

Reacting to this comment, Nse clapped back at him.  “Is this how you talk to your children and wife? Oga… don’t you ever try this again. Keep your respect for those you think to deserve it and those you bully! This space is ZEN. Good morning.” she wrote
