Biography

Patrick Fakoya, famously known as Rico Swavey, was a legal practitioner, artiste, movie actor, reality TV star, social media influencer, and former Big Brother Naija season 3 housemate.

He was born in 1993. Rico was 29 years before his demise

Education

Rico has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Babcock University.

Career

Patrick Fakoya began his career as an artist after graduating from Babcock University. 

Later, he opted for Big Brother Naija season 3. He then fully went into acting and singing afterwards.

He has been featured in a number of movies, one of which is the drama series, “Life 101,”.

He has also released several songs. Nacho cruise, This Life, Afrosantana, and Boy AFFI, amongst others.

He was also set to release an E.P in December 2022 

Accident

Fellow Big Brother Naija season 3 ex-housemate, Alex Unusual, announced Rico’s accident on her Twitter page. Alex also stated that he had been hospitalized, and the doctors are trying their best to resuscitate him.

She also asked fans to remember Rico Swavey in their prayers because he was in a critical situation.

Alex then expressed her determination to remain optimistic after the tragic event.

There was also a public plea to make donations to help save his life.

However, she did not disclose where or how the accident occurred.

Death

Former Big Brother housemate Tobi Bakre announced the demise of Rico on the 13th of October, 2022.

Tobi shared a photo of him and Rico with the caption, “This is how I will remember us brother. Forever”.

Relationship

Rico revealed that he was in a relationship with his fellow BBN housemate, Princess before they got into the BBN house.

Net worth
