1. Eyimba Football Club

Unquestionably, Enyimba is the most successful Nigerian football club.

Enyimba, a state-owned organization with its headquarters in the city of Aba, is regarded as one of the most successful clubs in the nation.

The club has had the most success in west Africa in the last 20 years and has won two African Champions titles, eight Nigeria Championships, and four Federation Cups. All of these victories date back to 2001.

2. Kano Pillars

Kano Pillars have the oldest football fans in Nigeria and have won a few trophies to show their fans how dedicated they are.

It is also unquestionably one of the teams with the most fans.

The club boast three Nigerian league titles and two Nigeria FA crowns.

3. Akwa United Football Club

One of Nigeria’s most well-liked football teams is the Akwa United Football Club of Uyo.

Akwa United has managed to maintain its weight in terms of followers in a nation where fans are disinterested in the regional competition.

Their newly constructed stadium, the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, which garnered national recognition for its modern and excellent facilities, was primarily responsible for their change in fan support.

As a result, the squad gained much attention and additional support from the local population.

4. Plateau United Football Club

One of the most contentious football clubs in Nigeria is Plateau United, and with those conflicts have come the good, the bad, and the ugly.

For the better, their continued ability to capture FIFA and the NFF’s interest has raised awareness and elevated fan support.

One of the most well-known disputes involved the club’s feeder team’s 79-0 victory, which drew strong criticism from international and domestic organizations.

While the feeder team’s players and all officials were banned for life, many Nigerians, especially state indigenes, became aware of the senior team, with some pledging their loyalty. The fans are so passionate that they even throw targeted objects at rival players.

The club won its first championship in 2017 when it clinched the NPFL.

5. Rangers International Football Club

Rangers international football club, also known as Enugu Rangers, is one of the oldest and most well-known teams in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Due to their rivalry with Enyimba Football Club, their fans are familiar with both teams.

Enugu Rangers have won seven Nigerian Premier Leagues, six FA Cups, one SuperCup, and one Africa Cup Winners Cup.

Rangers supporters are often collected and pragmatic, except for a few home games and their oriental club derby against Enyimba FC, which generates many emotions.

The typical Rangers supporter enjoys watching games against rival northern teams and nearby communities.
