1. Remo Stars Football Club – €1.50 Million

Remo Stars, also called Sky Blue Stars, was founded in 2020. Its home ground is located at Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

The team owned by Kunle Soname is managed by legendary Nigerian coach Gbenga Ogunbote

The club is participating in the Nigerian Professional Football League and several CAF competitions showing how its investment is paying off.

The football club has a market value that is estimated at €1.50 Million making it the richest club in Nigeria.

2. Lobi Stars Football Club – €550,000

The Samuel Ortom boys as it is fondly called is founded in 1981 by the late Bishop A.A. Usuh of the catholic diocese of Makurdi.

Its home ground is the Aper Aku Stadium in Makurdi, Benue State, with a stadium capacity: of 15,000.

The club headed by Tama Aondofar Emmanuel and funded by the Benue State government, has won several trophies, including the Nigerian FA Cup, Nigerian Super Cup, and Nigerian Professional Football Club league.

Its value is estimated at €550,000

3. Plateau United Football club – €375,000

Plateau United Football Club of Jos is also one of the wealthiest football clubs in Nigeria. The club is funded by the Plateau state government. 

The former Nigerian Professional Football league champion uses the New Jos Stadium in Jos as its home ground.

It is currently headed by Pius Henwan. The club has a market value of €375,000

4. Abia Warriors football club – €350,000

The Abia Warriors F.C of Aba was founded in 2003. It was promoted to the Nigeria Professional Football League in 2013 and has performed excellently.

It is also funded by the Abia State Government and adequately oversees the well-being and maintenance of the club.

Abia Warriors uses the Umuahia Township Stadium as its home ground. In its capacity, the club have sold many players to foreign clubs which is another source of revenue for it.

It has been estimated to have a market value of €350,000.

5. Rivers United Football Club – €225,000

The Pride of Rivers, as the club is fondly called, is one of the richest football clubs in Nigeria.

The club is a conglomeration of Dolphins FC and Sharks FC. This merger gave it a great opportunity to get adequate funding from the government.

It sits in the fifth spot among the richest football clubs in Nigeria, with a market value of €225,000.
