Meet Khabe Lame: TikTok Star Who Earns Six Digits Dollars Per Post

Who is Khaby Lame?

Khabane Lame famously known as Khaby Lame, is a social media influencer, entrepreneur, comic artist, author and content creator.

Khaby Lame’s age

He was born on 9 March 2000 in Senegal before his family moved to Italy. Khaby Lame is 22 years old as of 2022.

Khaby’s rise to fame

Khaby became prominent in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown when he was laid off from his factory job as a machine operator.

He started making videos to share life hacks in which he performs the same task much simpler, without saying a word.

His videos are relatable because they don’t contain words but universally understandable gestures, facial expressions and shrugs. 

Lame has amassed about 149.5 million followers on TikTok, making him the most followed personality on the app.

Through his videos, without words, Khame has been able to bag mind-boggling deals with top brands worldwide and make mouth-watering money from the deals.

Endorsement deals

Lame recently bag a deal with  Hugo Boss, a fashion brand. The deal is worth $450,000 for him to walk in their Milan Fashion Week show with one TikTok video to go with it.

In September 2021, he attended the Venice Film Festival as a special guest for the first screening of the French film Lost Illusions by Xavier Giannoli.

A Hollywood studio also contracted him for $750,000 for one TikTok video on his page.

His trademark gesture has become so universal that top celebrities imitate him and even take photographs with him.

Snoop Dog, Lionel Messi,  Kylian Mbappe, Ed Sheeran, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, amongst others, have been seen with Lame and some giving his gesture as a sign of goal-scoring celebration in football matches.

Khaby Lame is engaged to Zaira Nucci. He announced their engagement on his Instagram account.

As of 2022, Khaby is reportedly worth about $15 million. He amasses a vast part of his wealth from advertisements and brand collaborations on his social media accounts.

Khaby has also bagged some awards for his unique comic style. Some of which include the Idol of the Year award, the biggest creator on the planet award and the About You Awards, amongst others.
