Patience Ozokwor famously known as Mama G, was born on September 14th, 1958. Currently, she is 64 years old(as of 2012).

Mama G is a singer and actress. She is famous for her role as a wicked woman in movies.

Patience Ozokwo attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School in Lagos before pursuing a Fine and Applied Arts degree at the Institute of Management and Technology, a popular polytechnic in Enugu.

Career

After graduation, Patience Ozokwo took to teaching. Her first job was a teaching job at WTC Secondary School in Enugu. A job she did for four years before opting for a broadcasting job with Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).

While at NTA, she was part of a soap opera by the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) titled “Someone Cares which gained public attention.

Later, she was part of Chika Okpala’s crew for a commercial. Her role in the commercial caught the attention of Chief Zebrudaya and several other Nollywood directors, who ushered her into acting.

Patience Ozokwo has since been a household face among movie lovers. She has had the opportunity to share the screen with top Nigerian actors like Pete Edochie, Chinedu Ikedieze, Sam Loco Efe, Osoufia, and Osita Iheme, amongst others.

She recently starred as Madam Pat in the Mo Abudu Netflix movie Chief Daddy (2018) and Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke (2022).

Mama G was married to late Emeka Ani. She got married to him as a teenager.

She is blessed with three children and several other adopted ones.
