Biography

Tunde Ednut, real name, Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle, was born on the 20th of January in Katsina State. 

Tunde Ednut is a comedian, social media personality, blogger, and music artist.

He is currently one of the biggest social media influencers in the country, with more than 4 million followers on Instagram.

Education

Tunde Ednut had his elementary education at Cambridge International School before proceeding to Federal Government College, Ugolawo, Kogi State, for his secondary education.

He then proceeded to Kingsland University in London, where he bagged a degree in Graphic Design. 

Career

Tunde started as a comedian. His comedy got him an invitation to perform at the Dynamiks Award in 2009

His performance at the award caught the attention of UK-based Black Nights Entertainment and Femi Amusan. 

Tunde’s collaboration with Femi Amusan’s likes allowed him to explore larger platforms.

He was invited to perform in shows in the UK, and it skyrocketed him to being one of the most sought-after comedians in the country at that time.

In 2019, Tunde started blogging by posting the latest gist on his platform. He took it a step further by utilising Instagram for his blogging.

Tunde is currently one of the biggest social media influencers in the country.

Aside from blogging and comedy, Tunde has also tried music. His first hit song was Catching Cold Remix, featuring Mavin Records’ Dr Sid.

His other hit songs are Baby Boo and Jingle Bell.

In December 2020, he released the remix of Jingle Bell featuring Nigeria’s top artists like Davido and Tiwa Savage.

Tunde is also known for his obsession with Senator Dino Melaye and Nigeria’s music star, Davido.

Marriage

Tunde is reportedly dating Ghanaian-born Erica Emefa.

Net worth

Tunde Ednut reportedly charges as much as N250,000 for every sponsored post on his page.

Controversy

In 2020, Tunde Ednut reportedly fell out with Nigerian relationship blogger Joro Olumofin. It started when Tunde accused Joro of sharing fake relationship emails, claiming they were not from his readers.

Joro clapped back by calling Tunde Ednut names and claiming that Tunde Ednut was deported from the UK.

Reacting to this, Tunde took to his Instagram page to inform his fans that he would host a show in London, titling it “Tunde Ednut Deported.”
