Tayo Aina is a photographer, filmmaker, and storyteller with a special niche in lifestyle, travel, business and real estate. He produces Afrocentric content to tell stories of African Businesses, brands and tourism.

Tayo travels around Africa for content that enriches his YouTube channel.

He is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most influential YouTubers 

Tayo Aina, a native of Ekiti state was born in Lagos on 9 December 1992. He is 30 years as of 2022.

Tayo attended Ifako International Secondary school for his secondary education before proceeding to the Federal University of Technology, Akure where he bagged a bachelor’s degree in Real Estate and Property Management

Career

Tayo started as a photographer by taking photographs of places in Lagos using his phone.

He then later advance to making videos with his phone. Later, Tayo got a camera to improve his contents

Tayo conceived the idea of content creation during his undergraduate days. He capitalizes on the concept to improve his video-creating skills.

He started with travel and lifestyle videos

He then started putting his content on youtube where he got noticed by lovers of his niche.

In addition to Youtubing, Tayo runs spacebook.ng, a platform for booking apartments, event centres and other spaces all over the country

Later, He started to travel beyond the borders of Nigeria to film.

He capitalizes on this by diversifying into other contents like real estate home tours. All around Africa.

This in turn shot Tayo into the spotlight as the number of his Youtube subscribers kept accumulating and massively increasing.

So far, Aina has filmed in Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Abuja, Yankari Game Reserve in Bauchi, Obudu, Niger, Kenya, Rwanda, Cape Verde, and Ghana among others

In addition, Aina has been able to change the way Africa is viewed in the world. In an interview with DailTrust, he said “There are a lot of people who are happy about what I am doing and many love the fact that I have been able to show positive images about Nigeria. When people Google Africa, they generally feel the continent is all about war, poverty and lots of other such bad publicity. But my videos have created good publicity, and when people watch them, they say it’s nice. It has been an awesome change.”

On August 25, 2022, YouTuber Korty EO stir controversy with one of her tweets where she brags about making other Youtubers in Nigeria ‘sit up’ 

This prompted Tayo Aina clapping back at Korty stating that he changed the game in the African YouTube space and should be accorded some respect
