Ahmed Ololade Asake, better known as Asake or Mr Money, is a Nigerian singer, entertainer, songwriter, media personality, and musician.

He is a gifted musician with a sonorous voice, which often thrills listeners.

Asake is a signed member of YBNL, the record label owned by Olamide which has produced some of Nigeria’s music stars like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, FireBoy DML, Lyta, Chinko Ekun, amongst others.

Asake was born on the 13th of January 1995 in Lagos State. He is currently 27 years old (as at 2022).

His songs have enveloped the Nigerian atmosphere, making him undoubtedly one of the most relevant raves in the industry at the moment.

Ololade is a graduate of the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State where he studied Theatre Arts.

Asake initially started out as a dancer before delving into music. He was determined to focus only on being a musician due to his intense love of music.

He randomly post his freestyle music videos online and this gave him the avenue to reach out to the public.

In 2020, one of his freestyle videos titled “Lady” went so viral that it attracted the attention of top celebrities and social media influencers like Tunde Ednut, Broda Shaggi, Sydney Talker, and others. They help him reach more audiences by reposting the video.

He then dropped his debut single, “Mr Money,”  which further established him as one of the most promising musicians in the Nigerian music arena. 

Asake released the track Omo Ope in 2022. The song quickly gained popularity online and it got the attention of Olamide who offered to record his verse for the single after falling in love with the tune, which later became more popular and peaked at No. 1 on the Nigerian Apple Music list.

Soon after, Olamide proposed signing Asake to the YBNL record label. 

Thereafter, he released “Ololade Asake”, his debut EP. Four popular songs from the music project—Omo Ope, Sungba, Trabaye, and Baba God—are included. 

For the Sungba remix, he worked with Grammy Award winner Burna Boy and it ranked top on the charts for several weeks.

He was also a featured performer on the song “Palazzo” by DJ Spinall  

In June 2022, he released Peace Be Onto You(PBUY). Numerous listeners have streamed the song thousands of times, while critics gave it favourable reviews.

In August 2022, he dropped a video titled “Terminator” from his most anticipated debut album, “Mr. Money With The Vibe” and it’s also been getting the anointing of Nigerian music video lovers.

Asake recently posted a picture of himself and his multimillion naira mansion on Instagram. He is also reportedly the owner of numerous cars.

His estimated net worth at the moment is reportedly valued to be 1.5 million dollars; but this cannot be independently verified.
