Biography

The real name of Victony is Anthony Chukwuebuka Victor. He is an R&B and Afro-pop Nigerian singer, rapper, and songwriter. 

He was born on January 5th, 2001. Going by his date of birth, he is currently 21 years old (as at 2022).

Vict0ny hails from Orsu local government in Imo state but grew up in Ojo, Lagos where he found his passion in music.

In 2020, Victony released “Saturn” his debut studio album.

He is currently signed to Mainland BlockParty & Jungle Records. 

His popular songs are Broken and Sing My Song

He was recently featured in Mayorkun’s Back In Office album track, “Holy Father.” 

Education

The report of his primary and secondary education is not public but an online source reported he is currently studying Petroleum Engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri.

Career

His debut single, “Ina The Benz,” was unable to pull attention.

In 2020, he signed a record deal with Mainland BlockParty & Jungle Records under which he released his debut album “Saturn”

Victony’s debut EP, which included Falz in the song “maria,” was a success due to the number of people who listened to it and gave him accolades for his rapping skills.

Victony stunned the audience at the Mavin rapper’s Revival Sunday series when he engaged in a rap battle with Ladipoe.

In 2021, Victony released “Broken,” produced by Hoodini, which gained massive attention from music lovers in the country.

Victony makes an appearance in the song “Holy Father” from Mayorkun’s second album, “Back In Office”. On October 29, 2021, it was made available via Sony Music.

In 2022, Victony released his most anticipated EP, Outlaw.

Accident

On April 25, 2021, the internet was saddened by the news that Victory had been in a terrible auto accident.

He was taken urgently to the hospital, and a GoFundMe was started to cover the cost of his surgery. He was confined to a wheelchair following a successful surgery.

Controversy

While still confined to his wheelchair after the accident that almost took his life, Victony miraculously stood up at “A Decade of Davido” concert to perform for the first time after the accident.

This didn’t go well with some fans who believe he is using the accident as a means to raise money

Victony however clapped back at the fans.
