Going by his date of birth, the Sultan of Sokoto is currently 65-year-old and would be 66 years old by August 24, 2022.
He is the youngest son of the 16th Sultan Siddiq Abu Bakar dan Usuman.
Sa’ad is the 20th Sultan of Sokoto, a prestigious caliphate before the arrival of the British.
He ascended the throne when his brother, Muhammadu Maccido, died in a plane crash in 2006.
