Morgan Macgregor: Biography, Age, Husband Michael C. Hall, Children

One of the most popular couples in the Hollywood (American movie) industry is Michael C. Hall and Morgan Macgregor.

The wife, Morgan Macgregor, though gained much limelight because of her marriage to actor Morgan, she is a renowned book critic, writer and novelist.

Morgan Macgregor Age and Early Life

Morgan MacGregor was born in Whitby Ontario, Canada in 1987. Her birth month is currently not made public; likewise, details of her Catholic parents and siblings.

She started her writing career at a tender age and over the years has written different fiction stories, both dark and mystery.

Despite her fame, she has tried to stay off social media and would prefer to read all day. She has also disclosed she has plans to open a bookstore one day with the name Dead or Alive.

In a Q&A with TheNervoursBreakdown, a literary magazine, in 2011, she said; “A writer acquaintance invited me to a semi-high-profile literary event the other day, and when I declined, he called me a cynic. I started to respond, “I’m a critic, not a cynic,” but stopped myself and remembered: I’m in Hollywood. Where cynicism is synonymous with anti-social, elitist, and where schmoozing, “doing lunch,” and playing six-degrees of separation is so ingrained in the socio-cultural structure, particularly regarding work, that staying home to read is a veritable death sentence on your career.

“But that’s what I do: read, and write about reading. They’re solitary activities, and I consider them my work. This is incongruous in a place where networking is work.

Some of the works she has reviewed include:

  • The Search
  • The Shelter Cycle
  • Magnificence
  • The Lola Quartet
  • Woke Up Lonely
  • The Blazing World
  • Birds of a Lesser Paradise

Marriage

Morgan got married to Michael C Hall in a quiet marriage at City Hall in New York City in February 2016. The couple reportedly dated for about four years before they were seen together in public for the first time at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Her marriage to Hall is the third for the actor. Michael had previously been married to Amy Spanger in 2002 until they divorced in 2007.
