Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) and former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, has said the 100 million Nigerians that live in poverty would be the structure.
Obi, who said this Sunday, was his reply to critics who say the Labour Party has no structures as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), which he left for the Labour party.

He said they must understand that the POOR, numbering over 100m people, would rise to stand with him and the Labour party, sack the two major political parties and enthrone the Labour Party (LP).

The former vice-presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said Nigerians who bear the brunt of the various economic mismanagement of successive governments would emerge as the structures that would decide the fate of candidates in 2023.

“Whenever I hear of NO STRUCTURE, my answer to it is simple; the 100 million Nigerians that live in poverty will be the structure. The 35 million Nigerians who don’t know where their next meal will come from will be the structure.”

Obi wrote on Twitter early Sunday. Unlike the All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party, Nigerians often say Obi has no structure.

Still, he continued, “The elderly, our mothers, fathers, and the old ones dying or being owed gratuity/pension will be the structure. ASUU; the lecturers that are being owed, and the students who are not in school will be the structure.”

“We’ll create the structure, and they’ll see what the structure is all about. The structure is about human beings”.
