Who is Osita Iheme?

Osita Iheme popularly known as Pawpaw is a Nigerian comic actor. He is from Mbaitoli, Imo state in Nigeria.

Pawpaw was born on the 20th of February 1982 and he is currently 40 years old (in 2022).

The ‘king of meme’, Osita though from Imo state grew up in Abia state where he pursued his acting career in 1998.

He was born into a family of five. His Parents are Mr Herbert Iheme and Mrs Augustina Iheme. Pawpaw is adjudged to be the most popular actor in Nigeria.

All his other siblings are taller than him so also are his parents.

Presently, he is still single and not engaged to anyone that has been made public. The actor has been keeping his private life from prying eyes.

In 2007 he was given the lifetime Achievement award by AMAA (African movie Academy Awards). To recognize him for his immense contribution in the comedy genres of the film industry, he was awarded by then President of Nigeria, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan the MFR (The Nigerian National Honor of Member Of The Order Of the Federal Republic)

Pawpaw was mostly typecast as a child in most of his movies when he started out. But that jinx got broken when he featured with his famous partner Chinedu Ikediezie in the award winning comedy movie Aki na Ukwa.

After this, the two evolved in their career and became multifaceted actors till date.
