Video: many feared dead as explosion rocks church in Owo, Ondo state

An explosion on Sunday rocked St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in the Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State.

According to sources, the explosion on the church grounds killed several people and injured many more and viewer discretion is advised, we are following the reports.

An eyewitness Kehinde Ogunkorode,tells newsmen that, the incident caused chaos in the vicinity, with residents fleeing for safety after being caught off guard.

Owo is a Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria and the local government has a population of 222,262, based on 2006 population census.
