The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Friday, cancelled the Kaduna Central senatorial primary election held on May 3, 2022.

A statement signed by the Kaduna state PDP Secretary, Ibrahim Wusono, stated that the decision to cancel the election was taken based on the National Assembly Appeal Committee report and recommendation.

Wusono noted that the state chapter of the party awaits further directives from the party’s national headquarters.
