There were strong indications on Wednesday that the All Progressives Congress national officials were divided over a plan by the President, Major General Muhammadu (retd.), to pick his preferred presidential candidate for the party.

The Federal Government has banned hunters and dealers of “bushmeat” from the practice forthwith to prevent any possibility of “spillover” of Monkeypox in Nigeria.

Several people have been reportedly kidnapped by bandits who attacked travellers along the Kaduna-Birnin-Gwari Road in Kaduna State.
