Army begins shooting exercise in Abia
The 82 Division of the Nigeria Army has commenced camping for a shooting competition at the headquarters of the 14 Brigade, Ohafia, Abia State.
This was disclosed by the 14 Brigade Public Relations Officer, Lieutenant Innocent Omale, on Tuesday when he informed that the exercise is expected to commence on Wednesday and would last for two weeks.
According to the statement, the exercise would involve firing live ammunition at the range site and assured members of the public not to panic.

Disclosing what the exercise is for, Omale said; “The exercise is to prepare contingents of 82 Division for the forthcoming shooting competition with other Divisions soon.”
The statement also asked farmers the keep off from the area for the period of the exercise.
