Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has hailed himself as a “real” man after taking in a second wife

Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, on Thursday hailed himself as a “real” man, following the announcement of his second marriage.

Edochie, sharing a picture of himself on his Instagram page, noted that real men own up and take responsibility.

Hailing himself, the actor wrote in Pidgin, “Na man you be.”

The photo caption read, “Real men own up and take responsibility. Fake men dey hide for back dey run am. EZEDIKE! Na man you be.”

The actor caused a stir on social media on Wednesday, after he made his second marriage public, adding that his new wife already had a son for him.

Edochie’s first wife of 17 years, May, has since unfollowed her husband on Instagram amid the news of his second marriage to Nollywood actress, Judy Austin.

Meanwhile, the first wife of Yul Edochie, May, has unfollowed her husband on Instagram amid the news of his second marriage to Nollywood actress, Judy Austin.

Following the news which caused a stir on social media on Wednesday, Yul’s wife of 17 years has unfollowed her husband on the social media platform.

Checks by our correspondent on Thursday showed that May no longer follows her husband, though Yul still follows his wife on Instagram.

Yul had on Thursday morning hailed his first wife, May, via an Instagram post, where he said she was his undisputed “number one”.

Taking to the comment section of her husband’s announcement post, she wrote, “May God judge you both.”

Edochie, on Thursday hailed his first wife, May, via an Instagram post.

Sharing photos of the mother-of-four, Yul Edochie noted that she was his undisputed “number one”.

He wrote, “Number one @mayyuledochie. Undisputed.”

This came a few hours after Yul went public with his second marriage and announced fellow Nollywood actress, Judy Austin.

The Popular Nollywood actor, had welcomed a son with his second wife, Judy Austin, who is also a Nigerian actress.

The actor made the announcement on his Instagram page on Wednesday, where he shared pictures of himself and the newborn son.

He added that he loves the child as much as he loved his older four children, which he shared with his first wife, May.

Edochie wrote, “It’s time for the world to meet my son. His name is STAR DIKE MUNACHIMSO YUL-EDOCHIE. Born by my second wife, Judy Austin. And I love him so much, just as much as I love my other children.”

The 40-year-old actor and his wife, May, had marked their 17th wedding anniversary in October 2021.
