I forgot my studies since I started djing again — Cuppy 

Nigerian DJ and music producer, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, stage name Dj Cuppy, has revealed she has been distracted from her studies at Oxford University since she returned to DJing. 

She shared this in a tweet on April 17, 2022, where she revealed she keeps forgetting she is a full-time student with a research thesis due this summer. 

Her tweet reads “I CAN’T EVEN LIE, SINCE I STARTED DJING ACAIN AND I GENUINELY FORGOT THAT I AM INDEED STILL A FULL-TIME STUDENT AND HAVE A WHOLE RESEARCH THESIS DUE THIS SUMMER

I have to KEEP reminding myself to NOT allow music get in the way graduating from @UniofOxford this year!”

Cuppy admitted earlier this year in another tweet that she wasn’t sure she made the right decision getting a third degree and considered quitting. 

She however spoke to school staff, and that led to her decision to complete her research. 

In a tweet she shared on April 18, 2022, she hinted again she made a mistake taking up a third degree. 

The tweet has a video where she is seen studying, but with a frustrated face. The video has Black Sherrif’s ‘Kweku the traveler’ playing in the background.
