Netflix fires Frank Langella over misconduct

Multi Tony award-winning, American stage and film actor, Frank A. Langella Jr. popularly known as Frank Langella, has been fired from Netflix’s The Fall Of The House Of Usher’ after misconduct investigation.

The Oscar-nominated actor is no longer the lead of the eight-episode limited series based on the works of Edgar Allan Poe.

Frank was the subject of a now completed investigation. He had been accused of being involved in unacceptable conduct on set, hence his firing, and the lead role will now be recast.

The show was already halfway through production at the time of the conclusion of the investigation, but the producers have decided to redo all the scenes involving Frank Langella.

According to TMZ, the investigation was launched after the actor was accused of sexual harassment, including making inappropriate comments to a female co-star.
