Many injured as MC Oluomo’s loyalists, NURTW members clash in Lagos

In a bid to take over parks from members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), loyalists of sacked Lagos council of the Union, MC Oluomo, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as ‘MC Oluomo’, engaged the NURTW members.

Many people were reported injured in the incident which happened in Fagba area of Lagos on Monday.

NewsWireNGR recalls that the Lagos state government on the suspension of MC Oluomo in Lagos barred NURTW from operating its parks. The government instead constituted Lagos Parks And Garages Committee and appointed MC Oluomo as its Chairman.

Eyewitnesses said the fight started in the morning and was not curtailed causing it to extend to Ogba in Ifako/Ijaiye and Pen Cinema where a yet to be ascertained number of people were said to be injured.
