Domestic Violence: Late singer, Osinachi’s husband arrested, Police confirm

Mr Nwachukeh, husband of late gospel artiste, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The husband whose other name is yet released to the public was alleged to have kicked the singer in the chest causing the severe pain that got her admitted where she died.

NewsWireNGR had earlier reported the singer died after days on life support. Contrary to earlier reports that she died of an ailment, friends and colleagues claimed she died from domestic violence.

Osinachi’s elder sister was reported to have also confirmed that the husband kicked her in the chest which led to her being taken to the hospital.

A Police source disclosed that police operatives, Sunday arrested Mr Nwachukeh and that investigation has commenced into the singer’s death as a result of alleged domestic violence.
