Wizkid’s manager Jada Pollock has expressed her frustration at the Recording Academy after he lost both Grammy nominations.
Wizkid has lost both nominations in the Best Global Music Performance category and the Best Global Music Album category.
Angelique Kidjo’s Mother Nature won the Best Global Music Album award, which came as a surprise to many especially considering the global success of Made in Lagos.
Jada accused the Recording Academy’s committee of prioritising their personal opinions over facts in a post and delete.
“When it’s all said and done, facts speak louder than a committee full of opinions. I’ll just leave it here…” she tweeted, tagging the Recording Academy.
She also shared a list of Made In Lagos achievements under the tweet.
Wizkid was nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category, recognising new vocal or instrumental Global music recordings.
