Why Kanye West will not be headlining Coachella this year

American rapper, record producer, and fashion designer, Kanye West, stage name ‘Ye’ has dropped out of the Coachella festival line up. 

The festival which was to have Harry Styles, Billie Eilish and Ye headline surfing the two week period, will now have just Harry Styles and Billie Eilish headlining. 

Ye has not made a public statement giving a reason for this decision, but it also affects an appearance by Travis Scott. 

Since Travis’s Astroworld event where 8 people were killed and several injured in November never of 2021, the rapper has not performed in front of a large crowd. 

Rapper ‘Ye’, was reportedly going to make an appearance with Travis, but that won’t be happening right now. 

After attacking his ex Kim Kardashian, and her Boyfriend whom he calls Skete, as well as Comedian ‘Trevor Noah’, which ultimately led to a 24hr instagram ban, it looks like Ye has decided to take a break from the spotlight for a bit.
