Anthony Anderson faces divorce petition from wife  

American actor, comedian, and game show host, Anthony Anderson, is facing a divorce petition from his wife if 22 years. 

The couple got married in 1999 after meeting in college at Howard University, and now have two adult children, Kyra and Nathan. 

This would not be the first time Anthony’s wife, Alvina Stewart, is filing a divorce. She first filed in 2015, but she dismissed the petition and got back with her husband. 

According to legal documents obtained by The Blast on March 28, 2022, the petition is due to “irreconcilable differences”. 

Stewart, 51, is also demanding spousal support from her husband in the petition. 

The document states “All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by Petitioner prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation, the exact nature and extent of which are unknown,”

Since both of their children are legally adults, Stewart will not be requesting child support for this divorce claim.
