Reactions as Skiibii claims he’s indifferent about congratulations
‘Baddest Boy’ singer Skiibii or Skiibii Mayana, whose real name is Abbey Toyyib Elias has revealed he doesn’t get excited over congratulatory gestures and messages.
He revealed this in a tweet from his verified Twitter account on Tuesday, March 2022.
His reason for the lack of excitement according to his tweet is he doesn’t dwell on his milestones or accomplishments.
The tweet reads “I’m not so excited about CONGRATULATIONS cos I don’t dwell on any milestones or accomplishments”
He also added he is always working hard despite his success.
“I wake up the next day and grind like I’ve never tasted success.” He wrote.
Some upset twitter users reacted, letting the singer know he isn’t being honest with himself and he is not being thankful.
A twitter user wrote “I hate nonsense OGA because this thing way u dey talk na stupid thing,u should be excited because isn’t easy nor come dey FM abeg”
Another replied “It’s God doing not your power oga. Some people hustle then you do now that is your time be praising God rather then puffpuff”
A third Twitter user sarcastically quipped “Does it means your a ritualist or what (laughing emoji)”
A fourth noted that the singer’s formerly unverified Twitter account is now verified.
That tweet reads “Because u don verify ur account”
