UBA reduces Naira Card international monthly spending limit from $100 to $20
The United Bank for Africa has informed its customers that starting from March 1, 2022, the monthly spending limit of its Naira card will be $20 instead of $100 which was stipulated last year.
According to a statement sent to customers’ email, UBA said; “In line with our promise to keep you updated on services, we have reviewed Naira Card limits for international transactions and this will take effect 1st of March, 2022″.
The bank however noted that; “you can use your UBA Dollar, Pounds or Euro Card for international POS, ATM and web transactions”.
In May 2020, the applicable limit on Naira card was $500 (or its equivalent in other foreign currencies) monthly.
It was reduced to $100 in September 2020.
