Humility isn’t saying yes sir to everything — Pere Egbi
Former Big Brother Naija TV show housemate and Nigerian actor, model, and former nurse, Pere Egbi is telling people what humility really is about.
He shared his opinion in a tweet on February 21, 2022.
In his tweet, he noted humility is misconstrued for just accepting everything that comes and having a yea sir attitude every time.
That tweet reads “Humility isn’t nodding your head like an agama lizard saying yes sir to every thing you’re told or taking every thing you’re given even if it’s beneath you.”
He also added that humility is really about having self respect but ultimately not being self absorbed in the process.
“Humility in itself is recognizing your worth and knowing not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to! Be humble.” he wrote.
