Tonto Dikeh laments about Nigeria’s healthcare
Tonto Dikeh, a Nigerian actress whose real name is Tonto Charity Dikeh, is expressing her frustration over the functionality of Nigeria’s healthcare system.
She took to her Instagram story to narrate how she was told to make a payment before a dying patient is attended to.
She stated she made the complete payment with part of it in cash and the other half with a cheque, but the medical personnel were still dragging their feet to treat the patient.
“Our healthcare is ridiculously and painfully on zero percentage, how can a hospital refuse to treat a dying patient.”
“You asked for a million, I gave you 500k cash and a cheque still no one will attend to them. It’s not like you need to buy anything atm.”
