‘Fans blowing hot air’: ACs in Lagos airport not working, Toke Makinwa laments

Nigerian OAP and TV host Toke Makinwa has in a series of posts, expressed her displeasure over the state of infrastructure at the airport In Lagos, Nigeria.

She took to her verified Twitter account on Monday February 7, 2022 to share a series of tweets where she explained the ACs at the airport are not functional.

She also states that the airport workers are forced to work under the harsh condition and it seems like people have chosen to accept the fact that the situation is ‘Normal’.

She also adding that it is why the workers take out their frustrations on the passengers who go in and out of the airport.

“Touch down Lagos Nigeria and the heat at the airport is insane, why will the A/C at arrivals not work???”

“The fans blowing hot air and the officers having to work under such circumstances is SAD. What a country”

“I’m standing at arrivals dripping in sweat and all I can think is the officers in the box who have to endure this daily.”

“Like we have all just accepted this as normal cos we go into our cars with A/C’a after but these people who work here under such harsh conditions are human too”

“No wonder they take out their anger and impatience on travelers. You enter Nigeria and pick up stress. Yuck” she tweeted.
