American rapper and music producer Kanye West, stage name Ye, took to his Instagram page on Friday February 4, 2022, to seek advice about his daughter’s use of TikTok against his will.
He wrote “SINCE THIS IS MY FIRST DIVORCE I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I SHOULD DO ABOUT MY DAUGHTER BEING PUT ON TIK TOK AGAINST MY WILL ?”
His ex-wife, member of the Kardashian family, Kimberly Noel Kardashian West, popularly known as Kim Kardashian, reacted with a statement she shared to her Instagram story on Friday February 4, 2022.”
Kim who is now dating American comedian and actor, Pete Davidson (who Kanye is reportedly spreading AIDS rumors about), has accused Kanye west, of negatively manipulating their post-divorce experience.
In her statement, she states that the attacks from Kanye in his interviews hurt more than their first child North’s use of Tiktok, and she allows North to express herself under adult supervision.
She also explains that the divorce is tough on their children and Kanye keeps lauding them more pain.
She finally concluded, she hopes Kanye would respond to his lawyer, so they can settle things amicably.
Her statement reads “Kanye’s constant attacks on me in interviews is actually more hurtful than any TikTok North might create.”
“As the parent who is the main provider and caregiver for our children, I am doing my best to protect our daughter while also allowing her to express her creativity in the medium that she wishes with adult supervision – because it brings her happiness”
“Divorce is difficult enough on our children and Kanye’s obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation so negatively and publicly is only causing further pain for all.”
“From the beginning I have wanted nothing but a healthy and supportive co-parenting relationship because it is what is best for our children and it saddens me that Kanye continues to make it impossible every step of the way.”
“I wish to handle all matters regarding our children privately and hopefully he can finally respond to the third attorney he has had in the last year to resolve any issues amicably.”
