Cristiano Ronaldo accepts Globe Soccer’s Top Scorer of All Time award at Dubai Expo 2020

On Friday, January 28, the Manchester United superstar was handed the gong while on holiday in Dubai at the Al Wasl Plaza having reached the landmark following his fairytale return to Old Trafford.

The 36-year-old was greeted by hundreds of supporters who had turned out to catch a glimpse of the superstar at the ceremony.

Ronaldo is spending the international break in Dubai with his family and was seen celebrating Georgina Rodriguez’s birthday at the World’s tallest building Burj Khalifa.

The footballer spent thousands of pounds to light up the Dubai skyline with a ‘happy birthday message to his partner.

The landmark tower changed colour before ending with the message ‘Happy Birthday Geo’ in giant white letters above a photo of the stunning Spaniard in a glamorous off- the-shoulder black dress.

Ronaldo’s partner took to Instagram to share the footage, saying: ‘This is how this exciting day ends. I’m speechless. Thank you, thank you, and thank you @cristiano.

You can’t make me happier every day.’
