Arsenal has confirmed that Ryan Alebiosu has left the club, here’s where he is headed

Arsenal has confirmed that Ryan Alebiosu has left the club to join Crewe Alexandra on loan.

The Gunners also announced that Lino Sousa has joined the club from West Bromwich Albion.

Mikel Arteta’s side disclosed this in a separate statement on their website on Friday.

The statement says, “Ryan Alebiosu has joined Crewe Alexandra on loan for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

“The 20-year-old defender joins the League One side for the rest of the season, having progressed this campaign and has trained regularly with the first team. He was also in our matchday squad as an unused substitute for the Premier League home match against Burnley.

“London-born Ryan joined us as an eight-year-old in 2010 and has progressed through our academy system, signing professional terms in summer 2020.”

On Sousa, Arsenal’s statement read: “Lino Sousa has joined the club and signed his first professional contract.

“The 17-year-old left-back has joined us from West Bromwich Albion.

“An England youth international, Lino has represented his country at both under-15 and under-16 level, in addition to making his debut for West Brom’s under-18s at 15 years of age.”
