Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus, loses mom

Nigerian actress and singer Stella Damasus, has lost her mom. The actress confirmed the loss of her mother in an Instagram post.

Confirming the sad news on her Instagram page on Monday, she wrote; “This is not goodbye, it’s TILL WE MEET AGAIN. Love you forever mummy.”

Stella Damasus is a Nigerian actress and singer whose career began when she worked at Klink Studios, recording TV and Radio Jingles.

She made her debut appearance as an actress in the movie Abused in 1992 and landed her breakthrough movie role in the movie Breaking Point and has featured in over 70 movies since then.

In 2006, she was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance in the movie “Behind closed doors” And in 2008, for the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in the movie “Widow” and in 2009 in the movie “State of the Heart”.

Stella Damasus won the award for Best Actress for the movie Two Brides and a Baby in 2012.
