Singer, Faze, has lost his mother
Nigerian singer and former member of the Plantashun Boyz, Chibuzor Oji, stage name Faze, has lost his mother.
The singer shared news of his mother’s death via his verified Instagram account on Tuesday, mentioning she passed January 12, 2022.
He wrote “I don’t know how to express what’s in my heart. My heart is heavy. My Mum passed on last Wednesday, January 12th. This, after my twin sister left this world last year.”
“I don’t know why so many good people I love are leaving but I just hold on to the thought that God is God and he knows what he is doing. It is well.”
“I just thank Him that she lived a full life and is done with the troubles of this world. Rest well Mummy.”
Faze is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer. He was a part of the now disbanded boy group Plantashun Boyz, alongside 2Baba, and BlackFace.
After he split from the group in 2004, he launched his solo career. his debut solo album sold 1.2 million copies in the first month, achieving platinum status immediately.
