AFCON 2021: Shatta Wale trolls Ghana’s Black Stars over defeat
Ghanaian singer, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., stage name Shatta Wale has made a joke about his national football team.
The Black Stars (Ghana’s national football team) played against the Coelacanths (Comoros’s national football team) at AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) 2021 on Tuesday and were defeated 3-2.
While the match was ongoing, the singer tweeted a joke about the team, stating he needs to select all the players for the team next time.
He wrote, “Ghana has a big problem, it even shows in our football Next time I will select the players”.
Shatta Wale is a multi-award winning Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artist. He rose to the limelight in 2014 when he peaked on number 38 on E.TV’s top 100 most influential Ghanaian awards chart.
He has worked with notable artistes like Beyoncé, Fuse ODG, and Sarkodie.
