Tension in Kaduna community as bandits, soldiers engage in gun battle
There was tension in Unguwar Musa Tudun Wada Kudansa in Maraban Rido, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the early hours of Tuesday as bandits engaged in a gun battle with soldiers.
According to reports, casualties were recorded on both sides during the encounter.
Confirming the incident, the leader of the community, Joseph Sauri Garba, said the gun battle lasted for about 3 hours after the bandits invaded the community around midnight.
10 people abducted by the bandits were rescued by the troops.
