Nigerian comedian and actor Bright Okpocha, stage name Basketmouth has shared his thoughts on the raid of De General’s house by the NDLEA (National Drug Law Enforcement Agency).

He took to his Instagram page to share his thoughts on Wednesday with a series of videos on his Instagram story.

The comedian explained that when he heard the news he was expecting the NDLEA to show large piles of illegal intoxicants.

However, when he saw the photograph of what was found at the raided home, all he saw was three wrapped up marijuana sticks, the size of little fingers.

In the same series of videos, the comedian throws a question to the NDLEA, asking them how they feel about raiding the skits maker’s house. He stated “You guys are wasting taxpayers’ money”

Basketmouth further added that he is not in support of the use or distribution of drugs but he feels it was a waste of taxpayers money to raid a home just to arrest people for something so insignificant.

The comedian also sarcastically mentions that with the way things are going in the country it only makes sense for people to turn to drugs as a coping mechanism.
