Bandits abduct village head, family, foreigners, others in Zamfara

Bandits have abducted a village head, foreigners and residents in an attack on two villages (Yar Kuka and Kaduari) in Zamfara state.

NewsWireNGR had earlier reported that bandits in an attack on 5 villages killed about 200 persons.

In another attack, the bandit according to a resident of Anka abducted a monarch (Hadiza Musa), his wife (Hadiza Musa) and his brother (Bawa Musa).

According to a report by Premium Times, the bandits stormed the village on Monday night. They moved straight to the monarch kidnapping him along with his family members.

Other people reportedly abducted were two Burkina Faso nationals who were engaged in mining activities in the village and another resident named Dahiru Ummaru.

In another attack on Kuzawa community of Kadauri village in Maru Local Government Area, three women and three teenage girls were abducted.

This was claimed by Muhammadu Tasiu, a local trader. He said his two wives and three daughters were abducted by the bandits.
