2023: I’ve informed Buhari but yet to inform Nigerians — Tinubu
The former governor of Lagos state and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Monday informed the media that he has informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his presidential ambition come 2023 but has yet to inform Nigerians.
He stated this while briefing state media after his closed-door meeting with the president.
NewsWireNGR had earlier reported that the APC Chieftain arrived at the Presidential Villa alone. He last visited October, 2021.
Disclosing the details of his meeting with the president, he said it was on general issues concerning Nigeria including some of the concerns in the APC as well as security issues.
“I have informed the President of my ambition but I have not informed Nigerians yet, I am still consulting,” he said.
