Singer, Wizkid, has revealed that he does not believe in religion

Nigerian artiste Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has revealed that he does not believe in religion.

Balogun made this known in a recent post on Snapchat.

He said, “ I don’t wake up sad, I don’t wake up poor in life, in health and in spirit and I don’t wake up with hate in my heart.

“Don’t waste your life with temporary situations. Live life, age isn’t a representation of how smart you are, I know plenty stupid grown people too and I don’t believe in religion”.

In a recent interview he had with Vogue Magazine, on dominating the music industry and his entire career journey, has also assured his supporters who continue to rally behind him.

The Grammy Award-winning Afrobeats superstar, said he hasn’t lost sight of where he came from. 

“I’m unapologetically Nigerian, I’m unapologetically Lagosian, and that’s something I’ve stuck to from the beginning of my career,” he says. “And when I say I’m here for my people, I mean it.” 

He also talked about the ENDSAR S protest that rocked Nigeria in 2021, and his involvement, “For Nigerian youths, don’t let anyone tell you you don’t have a voice,” –

He said, “It was very important for me to be direct and vocal because I’ve always been direct and vocal about political injustice in Nigeria,” he explains. 

“To see that conversation happen and know that we’re one step forward from where we used to be, that’s amazing to me. And there’s no question I’ll keep speaking out loud”.
